A man has been found guilty of the frenzied stabbing murder of his own mother in front of paramedics in Perth . Callum Cameron says he remembers nothing of the night on August 10, 2020, when he stabbed Carol Cameron 62 times at their home in St James.
Desperate calls as man murders mum in front of paramedics. He previously admitted to killing his mother but said it was not murder because he was high on drugs at the time. He blamed a cocktail of chemicals he had ingested — including DMT, cannabis, antidepressants and antipsychotics — and argued the attack was unintentional. That defence was rejected by Justice Joseph McGrath who on Friday found him guilty of the horrific murder.
