A car has flipped onto its roof in a crash on the M61. Police are currently at the scene on the northbound stretch of the motorway near junction two, Kearsley.Read more:
GMP Traffic tweeted a picture of the badly damaged car, writing: "We are currently dealing with a car on its roof at J2 of the northbound M61. Currently down to one lane so things may be a little slow.Delays expected until at least 9.45pm The National Highways website is showing slight delays in both directions leading up to the crash. The incident is expected to clear between 9.45pm and 10pm.Traffic appears to be building up in the area. This picture from a nearby traffic camera was taken just a few minutes ago
