The case was finally concluded this week
On January 19 this year, Sofyan Amar pleaded guilty to driving without insurance or a licence, and dangerous driving on the A405 in Watford the day before.
However, the 18-year-old denied a charge of aggravated vehicle taking and property damage over £5,000, which specified the driver did not take the car but knowingly drove it without the owner’s consent. On December 14 that charge was dismissed.
