Most people as they grow older choose the quiet life with hobbies like reading, a spot of gardening, or walking.
The 92-year-old lives at Sway Place in Sway, Hampshire, and her wish was granted when a ‘wishing tree’ was installed to allow residents to put forward ideas they want to explore.She joined her friends for a show at Bournemouth Pavilion to watch Dreamboys.Betty was given behind the scenes access of the theatre and even got to meet and greet the cast.
Jane Baxter, home manager at Sway Place, said Betty’s dream is testament that ‘age is just a number’.
