Startled residents woke to find two cars ablaze and a house vandalised with red paint in the oceanside suburb.
Police are investigating a potential hate crime after multiple cars were graffitied, two set on fire and a home splashed with red paint in an apparent antisemitic attack.
The cars, along with one other vehicle, were spray-painted with antisemitic slurs. A home was also splashed with bright red paint.Premier Chris Minns said the government will do everything in its power to catch the “thugs” responsible.“This is a disgusting and dangerous act of violence that is the latest example of a rising level of antisemitic attacks in our community,” he said.Minns will be receiving an update from police later this morning.
