Police have released CCTV footage showing the moment a 51-year-old man was shot while driving on the M80 Ring Road in Melbourne. The victim, from Truganina, was treated for life-threatening upper body injuries at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. Two men, aged 30 and 26, have been arrested and charged with attempted murder and other firearm offences in connection with the shooting, which police allege was the result of a dispute between two organised crime syndicates.
Police have released CCTV of the moment a man was shot on a Melbourne freeway earlier this year. A 51-year-old man was left fighting for life after he was shot while driving on the M80 Ring Road in Jacana at 12pm on May 7. Police said they were initially alerted to an injured man on the freeway, however, when officers arrived they were unable to find anyone.
