A 25-year-old man was taken to hospital with a fractured skill and bleeding on the brain. 9News

Officers were called to the corner of George and Liverpool Streets, Sydney, after a man had been assaulted at about 2.10am on Monday.READ MORE:The incident occurred on George and Liverpool Streets in Sydney's CBD.Paramedics treated the 25-year-old at the scene where he was then taken to hospital with a fractured skill and bleeding on the brain.Police have released images of six men who they believe are involved in the incident.A blue Holden Commodore was also seen at the scene.

The second man is about 180cm to 185cm tall, of solid build, with facial hair and short black hair. He was wearing a light-coloured hoodie jumper and dark track pants. The fourth man is about 170cm to 175cm tall, of average build, with facial hair and short black hair combed to one side. He had on track pants, black sandals, and a light coloured zip jumper.
