The champions have to win but St Johnstone aren't short of reasons in their hunt to seek three points.
It's a mammoth day for both Celtic and St Johnstone with both desperate for a positive result for different reasons.
Craig Levein knows a win could be season-defining for the Saints, however, that pales into the cataclysmic events which would follow anything less than three points for the champions at home. Celtic welcome back Cameron Carter-Vickers but Liam Scales is set to drop out with a knock. Yang Hyun-jun completes a two-match ban. Callum McGregor, Reo Hatate, Maik Nawrocki and Luis Palma miss out again.
Kerr Smith has left St Johnstone to return to Aston Villa because of injury while Ali Crawford, Drey Wright, Ross Sinclair and Cammy MacPherson remain out. Rodgers is short on options in central defence, midfield and on the wings but he has three central strikers to choose between in Oh, Adam Idah and Kyogo. The Irishman has been starting but Kyogo was lively against Hearts off the bench and scored against Livingston, he appears primed to return.
