Cheryl’s replacement in West End show revealed as EastEnders star is also cast
The Girls Aloud star, 39, received rave reviews after kicking off her three-month stint in the hit horror show in January.
The actress, who is the daughter of renowned Hollywood actor Ray Winstone, previously took on the role of beloved EastEnders matriarch Peggy Mitchell in an iconic flashback episode that aired last year and the BBC biopic Babs, where she played the late Barbara Windsor.
Taking on the leading role of Jenny, Jaime follows in the footsteps of Cheryl, Lily Allen, and Laura Whitmore.One commented: "What a great line up. Danny Robins is a great writer and the audience that go to this show you will not be disappointed and keep it to yourself people." Fans were left confused and disappointed last month when Cheryl pulled out of a performance. The West End show announced on their website that Cheryl would not be appearing on Sunday 19 March.
