NT Police say the child was found this morning after he was reported missing from a home in a remote community yesterday. No information has been given about the cause of the boy's death.
Northern Territory police say a child has died in a remote community south-west of Alice Springs after being reported missing from a home.Police also did not say which community the boy went missing and was found in.In a statement, police said officers launched a search and rescue effort late last night.
"Tragically, the child was found in the community early this morning and has subsequently passed away," NT Police acting commander Kirsten Engels said."We request that the family's privacy is respected at this time and offer our sincere condolences for their loss," acting commander Engels said.
