China ‘taking some action’ after failing to prevent Pelosi’s Taiwan visit

China is now “taking some action” after failing to prevent US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi from visiting Taiwan, former US Army Chief of Staff General Jack Keane says.

“They have surrounded Taiwan in a sort of a quarantine or blockade using four days of live fire demonstrations to achieve this very public end in terms of

repercussions,” he told Sky News host Andrew Bolt.“Certainly China doesn’t want this crisis to go heading into the national party congress here in several weeks.”
