Kenny’s unwavering support for a Voice for Indigenous Australians has already been made clear through his writing .appointed Kenny to a panel advising the then-Liberal government on how to add an Indigenous Voice to parliament, perhaps a smart move in hindsight. But we hear that last month, during NAIDOC week, Kenny hosted an internal News Corp event with Indigenous leaders to discuss constitutional reform.
Our spies in attendance said a “persuasive” Kenny took questions from administrative staff, journalists and executives, and appeared to win over the room.While the organisation is bent mostly to the right, News Corp did throw support behind the “yes” campaign during the same-sex marriage plebiscite, and has recently tried to green-up its climate image and coverage.
