More than 110 people have been arrested by police during a shoplifting operation in Sydney.
NSW Police carried out a three-day operation in the CBD, Surry Hills, Glebe and Bondi, recovering more than $5000 worth of stolen goods.
Five people have been charged, 27 were issued Field Court Attendance Notices, and 66 were issued Criminal Infringement Notices. Police have warned they will continue to target shoplifters over the busy Christmas retail period.
