Sky News contributor Cory Bernardi says the Communist Party of China "is trying to run the world" and has many "acolytes in senior positions in the United Nations and their allied bodies". Mr Bernardi told Sky News host Peta Credlin "we absolutely have to" front up to China in it's bid for domination.

US President Donald Trump had recently threatened to defund the World Health Organisation after the “China centric” body failed to support early travel bans which could have saved tens of thousands of lives. "Donald Trump is right," Mr Bernardi said. He said the communist nation is "hell-bent dominating the global economy by fair means or foul we've got to stand up to that".

We’re finding out how vulnerable we are to this world trade system we were so enamored with.\n\n'We had masks at one stage that were on their way to Australia shipped off to somewhere else. \n\n'Yes we’re not expecting another coronavirus crisis anytime soon but what about what happens in the South China Sea? \n\n'What does happen when these supply lines are not so smooth?' \n

Perhaps Gladys Berejiklian ‘would be better off without two of her ministers’ | Sky News AustraliaPerhaps Gladys Berejiklian ‘would be better off without two of her ministers’ | Sky News AustraliaWhile Australians have been told to stay home and “cancel their Easter holidays” due to strict social distancing regulations, there is one NSW state politician who instead went to his beach house says Sky News host Chris Kenny. \n\nNew South Wales Arts Minister Don Harwin has been caught ignoring the Prime Minister's stay-at-home directive with the Liberal powerbroker pictured staying at his Central Coast holiday house, almost 100 kilometres from his Sydney abode. \n\nThe Minister said he wanted fresh air and his beachside house had more space than his inner-city apartment.\n\nSo, while “we're all stuck in our shells … he's at Pearl Beach,” Mr Kenny said. \n\n“You see one of the problems here is that Gladys Berejiklian could hardly sack Harwin when she's standing by another minister who has delivered the single largest mistake of Australia's pandemic response,” he said. \n\nMr Kenny said the actions, or inaction of NSW Health Minister Brad Hazzard led to a higher amount of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the state as a result of the Ruby Princess cruise ship saga. \n\n“Our results would be at least 20 or 30 per cent better if Brad Hazard had put the passengers and crew of the Ruby Princess into isolation”. \n\n“Perhaps Gladys Berejiklian would be better off without both of them”. \n\nImage: Getty \n
