A search led officers to find and seize 12 kilograms of methylamphetamine and precursors with a street value estimated to be worth more than $6 million in street value. However, during the process, officers spotted a man allegedly attempting to light the roof of the lab on fire while police were still inside.After months of investigation, police arrested six men and a woman following the execution of search warrants across multiple southwestern suburbs on Tuesday.Some of the alleged items found during the search include $1.8 million of illicit cigarettes, 100kg of loose tobacco, $37,000 in cash, cannabis and electronic devices.
