Police have found the four children who were abducted by a 28-year-old man 'known to them' one day earlier from their home near Mackay in Queensland.

Picture: Queensland PoliceQueensland Police confirmed in a statement the four kids were found"safe and well" on Friday morning but they were still on the hunt for Carter.
He added there had been no information on the location of where the children may have been but said officers were chasing a number of inquiries from locals who phoned about potential sightings.
