Around 2,000 passengers on board the Coral Princess will spend another night out at sea with wild winds and high swells making it too dangerous for the cruise ship to dock at Brisbane.

The Coral Princess has been prevented from entering Brisbane harbour with waves of up to 6.5 metres being recorded while passengers have shared footage of the boat rocking and water overflowing from the vessel's pools.

Around 2,000 passengers onboard the Coral Princess will spend another night out at sea with large swells making it unsafe for the cruise ship to dock in Brisbane. Picture: 7News Passengers on board the Coral Princess were booked for a seven-day cruise along the Queensland and NSW coast visiting Airlie Beach, Cairns and Port Douglas but have been forced to spend two extra nights on board due to the wild seas.

The boat is the same vessel that made headlines last week when it arrived in Sydney with around 120 positive COVID-19 cases on Wednesday.
