‘He’s been covering for longer than a year and a half, so this is the culmination of constantly coming up against adversity. Coronation Street has been very clever in the way the storyline, including various characters, and the narrative’s culmination brings together just about every cobbles resident imaginable.‘I think that was really planned because it meant that everyone could be his victim. He was circulated widely among the other characters, so it’s really thrilling that they all have a sense of who he is and are affected in different ways by him.
