Coronation Street stars have said it 'won't be the same' as it was confirmed Chris Gascoyne will leave the cobbles after 23 years. Chris played Peter Barlow with his final scenes on the popular ITV show set to air in the coming months.
"He's a fantastic actor to work with, Chris is the kind of person who could have gone off and done anything and he dedicated 20 odd years to the show, so to see him go it won't be the same show. I will miss him dearly," he told the Mirror.He went on: "I will stay in touch with him but working with him every day is one of the best things about coming to work.
