A young child has been killed when they were hit by a car on a street in Melbourne’s southeast. At about 5pm on Sunday, the child and car collided on Arrino Crescent in Hallam.
Emergency services rushed to the scene, but the young child, whose age is not yet known, could not be revived. The driver of the car stopped at the scene. Police are yet to determine how the fatal collision happened and their investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information or who witnessed the incident is urged to contact police.
