A Sydney man's comical car crash while trying to get a photo with Sydney Thunder star Sam Konstas has gone viral.
A Sydney man's attempt to capture a photo with cricket star Sam Konstas took an unexpected turn, resulting in a comical car crash and a viral video . Sirajuddin Khan, rushing to take a picture of his son's cricket idol, mistakenly left his car in reverse, causing it to roll forward and collide with another vehicle. The incident, captured on CCTV footage, has since gone viral, amassing millions of views on social media.
Khan, whose son, Shahzad Muhammad, trains at Cricket Central, explained that he had been running errands and forgot to return a pair of his son's batting gloves. He spotted Konstas in the carpark and in a moment of impulsiveness decided to try and get a picture for his son. However, his haste led to the unfortunate accident. Despite the mishap, Khan's son was oblivious to the chaos, having already taken a picture with Konstas. Khan was able to resolve the situation with the owner of the other vehicle, Prashant Sharma, a Cricket NSW staff member. He arranged for Sharma's car to be repaired and even joked that Sharma had parked his car in the same spot the next day. Konstas, who was unaware of the incident until he saw the video, expressed hope that Khan was alright and even offered to sign some memorabilia for him.
