Some initiatives unveiled by Premier Steven Miles are free lunches for primary school kids, a publicly-owned energy retailer to provide"greater competition", $1,000 energy rebate, 50 cent public transport and to build 50 state-owned GPs fully bulk billed. The Opposition Leader insisted debt"will always be lower under us", but did not provide further details on how that would occur if he wins the election on Saturday."No, you’ve got to do things on time and on budget," Mr Crisafulli responded.Mr Crisafulli hit back and said:"No, I vastly disagree with you."
Asked who would make the better Premier, 36 per cent of the 1,503 Queenslanders polled said Mr Miles should retain office, just one per cent behind Mr Crisafulli.During his conversation with Stefanovic, Mr Crisafulli reiterated it was not easy to win a state election, let alone a Queensland one."We need to win more than a dozen seats … and history shows what a massive mountain that is to climb," he told Sky News Australia.
