Blood plasma products giant CSL is feeling the pinch of rising labour and logistics costs, but boss Paul Perreault says the company is building momentum on plasma collections and will return to profit growth next year.
Shares fell by more than 5 per cent at the open and were down 2.9 per cent to $287.74 just before 10.30am AEST.that the costs of collecting plasma had jumped due to supply chain price increases across the board. “Then you have all the logistics that has increased in cost… There are a lot of different areas here that have driven costs up besides just the donor fees,” Perreault said.
