Social media has hit back at US President Donald Trump after he took to Twitter to attack climate activist Greta Thunberg.

Many were quick to point out the Swede’s mockery of Mr Trump’s comments via her bio change and point out she’s previously taken Mr Trump to task over his comments.

In September, after Ms Thunberg implored UN leaders to do more to tackle climate change, the US president mocked her by tweeting “She seems like a very happy young girl looking forward to a bright and wonderful future. So nice to see!”Within a day the teen had changed her Twitter bio to “A very happy young girl looking forward to a bright and wonderful future”.

We should all chill and let the infant in the White House stew in his furious juices that an adolescent woman was chosen as person of the year over him. History will regard Greta Thunberg much more kindly than Donald J. Trump.
