Curry passed Allen's career mark of 2973 triples in the first quarter of the Golden State Warriors' meeting with theThe Warriors star came into the game needing two triples to pass Allen and wasted little time, with his first shot coming from downtown in the opening minutes.Curry then broke the record with his second triple of the game at the 7:33 mark of the first quarter, sparking wild celebrations.
Curry shared an embrace with long-time teammate Draymond Green after his record-breaking three point shot "The way he changed the game is like how Babe Ruth changed baseball with the long ball," said Reggie Miller on commentary for TNT.
