A Woolworths customer has been left stunned by an unbelievable find inside a popular meat buy. Sharing on Facebook, the Sydney shopper was frustrated to open up a pack of Woolworths brand Souvlaki Style Lamb Strips and make an alarming discovery inside. A photograph shared by the woman shows that instead of receiving pieces of marinated of lamb, there was a large sheet of sinew and fat in the pack instead.
“In the midst of a cost of living crisis and I get to feed my family with this? Where’s your quality control? “I guess this is another meal I have to pad out with even more veggies. “Opening this packet gave me the Sunday scaries.” Woolworths responds Speaking to 7NEWS.com.au, a Woolworths spokesperson said the supermarket was concerned by the shopper’s experience. “We pride ourselves on providing high-quality meat cuts to our customers and we’re disappointed to see this,” the spokesperson said.
