A cyclist has died in a collision with a ute in a South Australian town, 230 kilometres north-west of Adelaide.
The 72-year-old man was riding down Abbatoirs Road just outside of Port Pirie when he collided with a Mitsubishi ute.The driver of the ute, a 30-year-old Port Pirie West man, was not injured and is assisting police with their enquiries.South Australia's road toll continues to climb well past last year's total toll.
Today's death marks the 91st life lost on the state's roads this year, compared to 71 for all of 2022.
