A hilarious video of cyclists trying to pronounce the Scottish capital shows them getting tongue-twisted over Edinburgh 's name.
Hundreds of cyclists from all round the world have descended on Scotland for for the UCI Cycling World Championships. In a video uploaded to TikTok by UCI themselves, a few cyclists haven't got the hang of the pronunciation, as reported by Edinburgh Live.The first person asked responds: "Edinbirth."Perhaps the most unusual response comes from a cyclist from Morocco, who gives it a good try. He goes with: "Edinboar."Struggling with the word Edinburgh is not uncommon, with Readers Digest including it in their 35 most mispronounced city names.
