Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews has faced a media barrage today after being grilled on the anti-corruption watchdog’s probes into his government and over a 2013 car crash that left a teen severely injured.

On Friday, Mr Andrews dismissed questions surrounding the amount of IBAC probes into his state Labor government, saying, the work of the anti-corruption watchdog “is a matter for them”.

Mr Andrews also said his government holds regular dialogue with all of the state’s integrity agencies. “That’s principally conducted between the attorney-general as the first law officer and those agencies – and that’s why the budget for these agencies has increased enormously,” he said during a media conference in Melbourne.
