Cool, breezy days with mostly sunny skies Friday are expected to carry metro Denver through winter’s last weekend with possible light snow in the Front Range foothills Friday. cowx
National Weather Service forecasters said the high temperature in metro Denver will hit 40 degrees Friday, increasing to 43 degrees Saturday and possibly exceeding 50 degrees Sunday.In the mountains south of Interstate 70, snow may fall in some areas such as South Park, with less than an inch accumulating, according to the weather service. Road conditions in the mountains were improving. Colorado’s eastern high plains are expected to be dry with temperatures below normal in the 30s and low 40s.
Light snow will gradually diminish across the Front Range foothills. Additional accumulations around an inch or less.
