Police have issued a plea for help as they search for an eight-year-old boy who vanished in seconds nearby a popular Australian beach on Wednesday.
Authorities have confirmed the child was last spotted on an orange scooter at 8am, heading north along the Esplanade between Burleigh Heads Surf Club and the North Burleigh Surf Club.
