Police say the arrest of a 28-year-old man on the Anzac Bridge yesterday came as part of an investigation into the alleged kidnapping of a former Test cricket star.
A man wanted by police in connection to the alleged kidnapping of former Test cricket star Stuart MacGill has been arrested on the side of a busy Sydney highway.The 28-year-old is not accused of involvement in Stuart MacGill's kidnappingZachary Ahmad El Kheir, 28, was arrested after an alleged pursuit on the Anzac Bridge at Pyrmont about 3:15pm yesterday.
The Camry was successfully pulled over soon after and Mr El Kheir was arrested on the side of the road, with an amount of cocaine allegedly found inside the vehicle.
