Videos posted to social media have revealed the lifestyle of the teenager charged over a fatal crash which killed beloved Queensland grandmother Rosemary Franzidis.

Videos from the TikTok account of a 16-year-old charged over the crash which killed Queensland grandmother Rosemary Franzidis have revealed the teen frequently posted clips where he made gang signs, raised the middle finger, smoked, and drunk alcohol.

On Monday, the Courier Mail revealed the teenager was a frequent user of social media app TikTok and regularly posted videos showing himself hanging out with other teenagers, fighting, drinking, and smoking. Speaking to Nine News, the teenager's grandmother, who cannot be identified, revealed the boy had a lengthy criminal history which included property offences and multiple breaches of bail., a court was told the 16-year-old had spent the past four years in the care of the Department of Child Safety and had never met his father."He also has significant mental health concerns," she said.Some videos show the teen dancing to rap music.

Mr Crisafulli, who was elected in part on his pledge to address youth crime, also reiterated his commitment to ensuring community safety in the wake of the tragedy.
