As The Six successfully put in motion their plan to frame Dean Wicks for the murder of Keanu Taylor, EastEnders fans are convinced that one piece of evidence may see him walk free
After weeks of uncertainty, Linda Carter finally put her plan to frame Dean Wicks for Keanu Taylor’s murder into motion on Thursday’s visit to EastEnders when she headed to the police station to give a statement which implicated him in the grisly crime.
However, as viewers will already know, despite the convincing performance, Linda was far from telling the truth, as she herself had been responsible for murdering Keanu when she stabbed him with a meat thermometer last Christmas while saving her best friend Sharon Watts from being strangled. Under questioning, Dean strongly refuted the claims but was presented with a number of damning revelations by officers, including the murder weapon being found at his home, Linda’s statement, and of course his plans to flee the country almost immediately with his daughter, something which strongly suggested his guilt.
Taking to social media, one fan wrote: "One little detail that’s been neglected - the murder weapon has been wiped clean as Elaine used that meat thermometer at her Easter dinner. So Elaine may get the blame as her DNA will be on it/someone will notice that it’s missing.”
