EastEnders' Max Bowden fuming with Soap Awards as young actress is left off list EastEnders BritishSoapAwards
EastEnders has had a dramatic year, so it's not surprising that the soap has picked up a number of nominations at this year's British Soap Awards. But one person is missing, according to fans and actor Max Bowden.
Despite her major role, Isabella has not made the shortlist for the Best Young Performer at Saturday's British Soap Awards. That tweet was picked up by actor Max Bowden, 28, who plays Lexi's dad Ben in the soap and he added his frustrations.However, fans were quick to point out that EastEnders does have one nomination in the category in the form of Lillia Turner, who plays pregnant Lily Slater.
"Just pointing out Isabella deserves recognition for her work also. But am praying Lillia wins as she has been AMAZING x." Coronation Street's Jude Riordan is also nominated for playing smart Sam Blakeman, who has also had a big year.Away from the young performer category little Lexi's mum Lola who is played by Danielle Harold is nominated for Best Leading Performer in the public vote category.
