The mural will be painted live this Thursday through Saturday at the Allentown Fairgrounds Farmers Market. The timing corresponds with the Spring Sips at the Market event.
Artist Hunter Rose Young poses by a wall at the Clover Hill Vineyards & Winery Allentown store that soon will display her mural.The winery, with its home base in Breinigsville, Lehigh County, has enlisted the enthusiasm and expert skills of local artist Hunter Rose Young to capture the beauty of new beginnings in its Market Mural. Young will paint that mural during business hours in the Clover Hill Wine Shop at the Allentown Fairgrounds Farmers Market this Thursday through Saturday.
Young is no stranger to one of Pennsylvania’s oldest wineries, which was founded by John Jr. and Pat Skrip in September 1985. Two of their children, John III and Kari Skrip, now are partners in the business. Now, a recent Kutztown graduate with her BFA in hand, she is already making her artistic mark on the world. A self-proclaimed weird and wild creator, she employs bubbly organic shapes paired with bold and exciting color palettes as the foundation for her funky works of art.
