The British pop star met with Shane Warne's three children before taking the stage at the MCG, where he went on to perform a song in honour of the late King of Spin and his family.
The British pop star, who is currently in Australia for his Mathematics Tour, met with Brooke, Summer and Jackson Warne backstage before taking the stage in Melbourne on Thursday night.

Picture: Jake NowakowskiBrooke and Jackson both shared photos from the pre-show meet up where they exchanged gifts including a picture of Sheeran with Warne and Australian music legend Michael Gudinski.“Love you Ed and miss you dad.”
The friendship between Warne and Sheeran has been widely publicised with the pop star sending a message and song that was featured in the state memorial at the MCG. Sheeran also paid an earlier tribute to his late friend Gudinski when he visited the music magnate’s statue.
