A security crackdown is announced for a WA high school where female victims have suffered broken bones, bruising, hair loss, and deep scratches from attacks on and off campus.

Female victims have suffered broken bones, bruising, hair loss, and deep scratches from attacks on and off campus by a group of female students, at times numbering up to 30.from seeing the perpetrators in the school grounds, while some students had to be escorted between classes or spend their breaks in front of CCTV cameras for their safety.The school, which has almost 1,000 students, has been criticised for not acting on their concerns, some of which date back two years.

Ms Rodgers said additional psychological support would also be made available at the school, while a helpline would be established for parents and students to report future incidents. "I've spoken to the principal to make sure that when we get those reports he acts on those fast and quite decisively."

"There are some students that are not behaving well and those students should not be afforded the opportunity to access those types of programs," Ms Rodgers said.
