Including Queensland's first coronavirus case in 11 days.
NSW announced there had been seven new cases in the state as well as two “probable” cases that were detected in the border town of Albury and are undergoing further testing.
One of the seven new cases is a recently returned traveller who tested negative on day 10 of quarantine. However, he developed symptoms on his return home to Newcastle on Sunday, after being released from hotel quarantine. He and his close contacts are in isolation. The case is a member of the Australian Defence Force who returned from overseas before developing symptoms in quarantine.
This means there are now two active cases in the state. The other is an 81-year-old man still recovering in Gold Coast University Hospital.
