The New Republic Reporter Alex Shephard says Elon Musk is “prone to making bold pronouncements”, in response to the Tesla CEO announcing to cut 10 per cent of the company workforce.

“If you look at Tesla’s stock price, you may see the real answer … it’s lost I think about 40 per cent of its value,” he told Sky News Australia.

“Partly because of Musk’s kind of extracurricular interest … Musk, I think you know, is prone to making bold pronouncements.”
