Northern York County Regional Police believe the shooter’s vehicle is a gold 2003-2008 Toyota Corolla with primer-colored spots on the passenger side.
An unknown assailant shot at an ambulance in Lancaster County in the early morning hours of Saturday Sept. 24.The emergency responders were traveling eastbound on Loucks Roud in Manchester Township when they noticed a vehicle quickly swerving toward and in front of the ambulance, police said.
As the Life Team ambulance traveled between Pennsylvania Ave. and Susquehanna Trail, they saw a muzzle flash as someone in the passenger side of the car ahead shot into the driver’s side of the ambulance, police said. The bullet struck the upper-rear portion of the cab, missing the three employees aboard. There were no patients in the ambulance, according to police.
Police believe the shooter’s vehicle is a gold 2003-2008 Toyota Corolla with primer-colored spots on the passenger side. Anyone with information on the incident should call the Northern York County Regional Police Department at 467-8355 or anonymously submit tips online at
