Two emergency warnings have been issued for bushfires burning in the Greater Sydney area.
The Gospers Mountain fire, which was started by lightning about a month ago, has been burning in the Wollemi National Park in the Hawksbury region of Sydney. Residents in Colo heights and upper Colo have been told to leave now.
The second fire that has been elevated to an emergency level on Thursday is the Green Wattle Creek fire, which is threatening the communities of Nattai and Oakdale. There are currently eight fires burning at a watch and act level across NSW. Image: News Corp Australia
