Queensland is standing firm after the government refused to allow a woman to leave quarantine for her dad’s funeral, saying any change was too risky.

“I’m not going to cause even more heartache to someone to have their private information discussed publicly,” she said. “They’re a very, very risky environment for spread of the virus because of the nature of the service and what happens,” she said.
