Western Australia Police are on the hunt for a prisoner who escaped from Pardelup Prison Farm, near Mt Barker, yesterday.

The 42-year-old prisoner, Joel Back, is described as being 175cm tall with dark hair, a tattoo on his left arm and a scar on his forehead.Father of hostage freed by Hamas says she is 'doing very good'Police have released an image of Back, but are advising members of the public not to approach him.Pardelup Prison Farm is a 6,500 acre minimum-security facility designed to reintegrate offenders back into the community.

The facility, located around four hours south east of Perth, is a working farm which breeds cattle and sheep to feed the prison population in Western Australia.
