A European princess has touched down in Sydney ahead of an economic mission in Australia to bolster ties between the two countries.

Her Royal Highness will visit Sydney and Melbourne as part of the first Belgian economic mission to Australia in more than a decade, accompanied by Belgian Foreign Affairs Minister Hadja Lahbib and other delegates. Belgium’s Ambassador to Australia, Michel Goffin, said the mission aimed to enhance economic relationships between Australia, Belgium and the EU as a whole.
