Kickboxer and ex-Mongols bikie Suleiman “Sam” Abdulrahim is in a critical condition after he was shot leaving a funeral in Melbourne’s northern suburbs.

He was taken to the Royal Melbourne Hospital, where he was in a critical condition on Saturday afternoon.Suleiman Abdulrahim is arrested outside the Magistrates Court after a wild brawl in 2015.The violence erupted shortly before 12pm, police said, when the occupants of a Mazda SUV fired shots into a Mercedes four-wheel-drive on Box Forest Road in Hadfield.

They ditched the damaged Mazda and carjacked a Ford Territory from a woman and child and sped off. The victims of the carjacking were not physically injured in the incident, police said.Paul Jeffers Abdulrahim is a former director of a company called Power Promotions Pty Ltd, which controls boxing promotion business Punisher Promotions. He stepped down as director of Power Promotions in March last year, but continues to be involved with Punisher Promotions.A crime scene has been set up outside the Fawkner police station on Sydney Road in Hadfield, 15 kilometres north of the Melbourne CBD.
