Shadow Foreign Affairs Minister Simon Birmingham says expanding Australia’s trade access was one of the Coalition’s “great achievements” during their time in government.
“The Albanese government has now implemented the last of the trade deals that the former Coalition government negotiated and sealed for Australia,” Mr Birmingham told Sky News Australia.
“During our time, we managed to open up new trade deals with Japan, Korea, China … and indeed others in a range of ways. “The UK agreement will be great for Australian consumers in making goods and services cheaper and more available here.”
