Apple AirPod straps being sold for $92 that essentially turn the “cordless” devices into headphones have been mocked online.
Wireless AirPods have largely replaced Apple’s headphones, which had a cord. But AirPod users are prone to losing the pods, which are small and cost hundreds of dollars to replace.
US retailer Nordstrom is now selling magnetised straps in braided leather to hold onto the AirPods, saying the straps can help people who are prone to losing the tiny ear buds. The Nordstrom strap retails for $92.92 or $US60. “Avoid losing your wireless AirPods by attaching them to this magnetic-locking leather strap and wearing around the neck when not in use,” the Nordstrom listing reads.Source:Supplied
