According to the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission about 800,000 Australians are stuck on the most expensive deals. Adelaide woman Lauren Koplin, 35, is a single mother who looks after her seven-year-old son Noah full-time. "Living day-to-day life is hard enough, let alone having big debts from these energy companies," she said.
