Another evacuation flight has been added to help Australians stranded in Israel leave the country. It is believed the first flight will leave tomorrow, pending security issues, from Tel Aviv. There are more than 10,000 Australians who live in Israel, with many who are dual citizens and not all expected to leave.

Because of the demand expressed to DFAT, the Foreign Minister confirmed on Thursday morning that another flight will be added. The door will be left open to adding further flights and will be conducted to start with by Qantas, who agreed to not charge passengers or taxpayers as a show of goodwill.
